Happy 1st Birthday Bryce!

Yesterday I made a cake for my baby cousins first birthday which was on Friday (7/2/10)...we celebrated his birthday yesterday however on the 4th of July. I made a funfetti cake with homemade strawberry mousse in the middle. To decorate the cake, I used real whipped cream (which I make myself by the way.) I made a road out of the whipped cream by just adding all the colors I have to make a gravel type color and I also made grass by using green food coloring. I used toy trucks on the cake to make the cutest little scene!

Happy 4th Patty!

I made a cake yesterday for the 4th of July...I hope Patty and her family enjoyed it! The cake was just a white cake with a layer of vanilla pudding, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries in the middle. I decorated the cake with real whipped cream and strawberries and blueberries. I made a flag out of those two fruits.

Happy Birthday Tammy

Better late than never...on Monday (6/7/10) Tammy celebrated her birthday with one of my decadent cakes. I made her a yellow cake with a layer of vanilla pudding and strawberries in between. I frosted the cake with real whipped cream which goes great with the fresh strawberries.

Happy Birthday Gary

This weekend, on top of making an anniversary cake and a birthday cake, I have made one more birthday cake. I made a white cake with three layers of French Vanilla pudding and fruit (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries.) The cake is frosted with real whipped cream which I flavored with granulated sugar and vanilla extract.

Happy Birthday Ben!

Tomorrow (5/31/10) is my brother-in-laws birthday. For his birthday I made him a Boston Cream Cake. It's a super moist yellow cake with a delectable French Vanilla Pudding in between the two layers. To top it off, I made a chocolate glaze which tastes delicious......Happy Birthday Ben...ENJOY!

Happy Anniversary Tammy and Luther!

Yesterday I made a 12" and 8" square carrot cake for Tammy and Luther's anniversary. This carrot cake is a wonderful recipe and I am glad I came across it! It seems like this is my signature cake :) The cake is frosted and decorated with cream cheese frosting.

God Bless Bryce and Happy Birthday Grams!

Today was my baby cousin's christening and my grandmothers birthday. For the christening cake I made a marble swirl cake with a layer of raspberry mousse. Everyone raved about this cake and my neighbor ended up taking the extra mousse home! It came out better than expected and it makes me very happy. The second cake I made was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting which couldn't have made my grandma happier....3/4 of the cake was gone by the time the after party was over.

Mike's Birthday-Last One

So I decided not to add anything else to Mike's birthday cake. I don't want to make the cake become too busy especially because it is so gorgeous already :) I hope he enjoys the cake! Happy Birthday Mike!

* Well, Mike loved the cake! He gave me a big thumbs up :)

Mike's Birthday Cont.

Well, I finished Mike's 50th birthday carrot cake and it looks delicious! Not sure if I am going to add anything else to it; I will decide tonight and put on finishing touches tomorrow if need be. This carrot cake is topped with cream cheese frosting and it's one of the best cake recipes I've come across.

Congratulations Yojaira!

I made a cake for Yojaira's baby shower yesterday. The cake is covered with blue fondant and the blocks have buttercream frosting. The whole cake was a delicious strawberry. My favorite part was the bumblebee. What a hit!
